We are NYSUT and NEA members, affiliated with the American Federation of Teachers (AFT) and the National Education Association (NEA). We are part of the over 600,000 member New York State United Teachers, leading the drive for pension improvement and assured health benefits. Our Board of Directors, along with local chapter liaisons, meets monthly in Kingston. It networks with other retiree councils and active NYSUT groups.
